 draiser. Because April is National Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assau
 lt Awareness Month\, the 5K will be held on Saturday\, April 21\, 2018.\nT
 he Partnership and our members recognize the impact that child abuse and n
 eglect has on families and communities.  Child abuse and neglect can have 
 enduring physical\, intellectual\, and psychological repercussions into ad
 olescence and adulthood.  All types of child abuse and neglect have long l
 asting effects throughout life\, damaging a child’s sense of self\, abilit
 y to have healthy relationships\, and ability to function at home\, at wor
 k\, and at school.\nYour support will help to raise awareness in Ventura C
 ounty about how we can all work together to strengthen families and protec
 t our children.\nEvent details and schedule\n\nRegistration will begin at 
 7:30am\n\nThe childrens 1k will begin at 8:45am\nThe 5k race will begin pr
