 ght how to apologize in a way that is meaningful and respectful. By learni
 ng the appropriate way to apologize in a way that the other person wants t
 o hear it\, you can strengthen your family\, marriage/partnership and your
  relationships with your children.\n...But what if you do not want to apol
 ogize? We will address this possibility and explore ways to learn how to f
 orgive and heal family relationships. We will also explore ways to forgive
  yourself.\n\nLearning outcomes include:\nUnderstand the five apology lang
 uages (expressing regret\, accepting responsibility\, making restitution\,
  planned change\, and requesting forgiveness.)\nIdentify the primary apolo
 gy language for yourself and that of the child in your care\nBetter meet t
 he needs of the children in your care by understanding their specific apol
 ogy language.\nYour Instructors:\nRenee Cervantez has held various titles 
 and roles throughout her life and whether in her personal life\, career\, 
 or volunteer work\, her favorite is helping people grow and learn. Renee h
 as a master’s degree in education with a specialization in family & commun
 ity services. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with a minor i
 n Child Development. Renee has lived in Ventura County all her life and is
  happy to raise her family here as well. She lives with her husband and th
 eir three young children. Renee and her husband\, Joseph became foster par
 ents (and now a RFA home) in 2015\, and they have been blessed by adoption
  3 times!\nPam Lehtonen is a Certified Parent Educator. For over thirty-fi
 ve years\, she has taught in the corporate workplace\, public and private 
 schools\, churches and counseling centers. Some of her favorite topics as 
 a public speaker and adult educator\, include parenting\, communication sk
 ills\, marriage enrichment\, and the Five Love Languages of Children. Pam 
 and her husband Bill of 42 years are continuing their parenting journey by
  raising three of their five granddaughters. The youngest two are adopted
