GivingTuesday
We are giving 100% of the GivingTuesday proceeds to our Kids' Enrichment Fund,
which is used for gifts to foster children at the holidays, special opportunities like attending a play, sports activities, art lessons, or uncovered medical expenses.
There are no administrative fees associated with this fund.
All gifts made towards GivingTuesday on and prior to November 28, 2023 will be matched
– up to $10,000 – by the Rick and Marcie Sexauer Foundation!
❤️
There are over 500 children and youth in foster care in Ventura County.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ventura County is a nonprofit that recruits, screens, trains,
and supports volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities.
Once a CASA volunteer is trained and sworn-in by a judge, they build a one-on-one relationship with a local foster child and
collaborate with others involved in the child's case. The CASA volunteer prepares a court report that will be read by the judge
and all case professionals, which includes observations, evaluations, and informed recommendations for the child.

Thank you, and best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ventura County believes that every court-dependent abused or neglected child should be safe, have permanence and the opportunity to thrive, and have a strong, compassionate volunteer Advocate.
