Eddie Perez joins CASA of Ventura County as a Case Supervisor. He previously worked in higher education assisting students in applying for college, completing their financial aid, and job placement. During his work at Allan Hancock College, he was able to secure funds to provide tutors at all 14 schools within the Lompoc Unified School District. He has volunteered with Future Leaders of America as part of their Director’s team, in their summer leadership camp. Eddie is also a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

His passion for helping underrepresented youth has shown through his commitment in empowering youth in his hometown of Lompoc. Recently, he started a group in Lompoc to give youth a place to feel safe, empowered, and have their voices heard. Eddie will be completing his Bachelor’s in Sociology in Fall 2019, before pursuing a Master’s in Counseling/Student Services. In his free time, he enjoys going on hikes and spending time with his family.
