Ellen has been a CASA Volunteer since May of 2015 and a Peer Coordinator since September of 2017. Ellen's background is in the medical field holding positions in a medical lab and in clinical research specializing in data management, programming and data analysis. Past volunteer experiences have been with the Ventura County Medical Center, Caregivers-Volunteers Assisting the Elderly of Ventura County and Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura. Ellen is now focusing her volunteer efforts with CASA to help the youth of Ventura County.
In her spare time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her two sons and their families, and especially with her two grandchildren. She also enjoys genealogy, reading, gardening and traveling.
