Michelle manages a dedicated team of both staff and volunteer Case Supervisors and is responsible for oversight and administration of the court process and ensuring that CASA’s Advocates provide excellent advocacy for all our Appointees. Michelle’s experience as a school counselor and her experience working with at risk youth give her an in depth understanding of the type of issues our Advocates and their Appointees encounter, in addition to:
-personal experience with CASA from having been an Advocate since 2013;
-excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to everyone in the CASA community;
-dedication and commitment to the CASA mission.
Michelle is a graduate of California Lutheran University, with a BS in psychology and a MS in Counseling and Guidance. She lives in Thousand Oaks with her husband and two young children.
