The First Seven Years: Shaping the Mind and Brain
Presented by Ventura & Oxnard FKCE
Instructor: Anne Rodriguez
Early childhood experiences shape a child’s subconscious mind, emotional development, and future behavior. This class will explore brain development in the first seven years and how early experiences influence lifelong patterns. Participants will learn at least three trauma-informed strategies to support healing and healthy brain development in children who have experienced early neglect, abuse, or attachment disruption. Ultimately, caregivers will leave with and understanding of why conscious parenting is essential for healing and growth and the strategies to foster emotional security and resilience in children.
