Thank you for supporting CASA of Ventura County. Every gift helps recruit, train, and support Court Appointed Special Advocates who advocate for children in foster care. Below are answers to common questions donors may have.
General Giving Questions
How will my donation be used?
Your donation helps CASA of Ventura County recruit, screen, train, and support volunteers who advocate for children involved in the dependency court system. Contributions also help provide ongoing volunteer education, program support, and resources that benefit the children we serve.
Is my donation tax deductible?
CASA of Ventura County is a nonprofit organization. Donations are generally tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. A donation receipt will be sent to the email address you provide when your gift is processed.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our online donation platform accepts major credit and debit cards. Additional giving options may be available through donor-advised funds, stock gifts, qualified charitable distributions (QCDs), and other charitable giving vehicles.
