Pete Scifres

Pete has been a CASA volunteer since April of 2016, and a Peer Coordinator since August of 2017. He enjoys working with and supporting a very fine group of Advocates.

Since retiring from the manufacturing and physical distribution division of Universal Music in 2007 he has volunteered at the Reagan Presidential Library, the Thousand Oaks Photography Club, and Ventura County SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). At the latter organization – a volunteer arm of the SBA -- he works with prospective or existing small business owners to begin or expand their companies.

Pete holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.

He has lived in Westlake Village since 1988 where he and his wife raised two children, who have now added four grandchildren to the family. When not volunteering or helping to look after the little monsters (whoops, beautiful grandchildren) he enjoys outdoor photography, travel, and hiking.
