Enhancing Tribal Relationships Panel
Presented by California CASA
California CASA and the Judicial Council of California would like to invite you to a virtual panel discussion where we will address the importance and significance of the relationship between CASA staff and advocates and the Native American community. You will get a chance to hear personal experiences that can provide valuable insights into what has worked well and what could be improved upon. We will help highlight some of the most important characteristics for CASAs working with Native American children and families that can help guide their approach and interactions. There will also be discussion around relevant policies and procedures, particularly those governed by ICWA and how we can equip CASAs with the necessary knowledge and tools to navigate such cases effectively. Join us for a chance to explore how we can develop better relationships with the child, family, and tribe and to ask our experts any additional questions.
