Parenting with Empathy: Trauma-Responsive Strategies
Presented by FKCE
Instructor: Anne Rodriguez
This training equips caregivers and professionals with trauma-responsive strategies grounded in empathy, helping them understand the deeper “why” behind behaviors often seen in foster youth. Participants will learn how to shift from reactive parenting to connection-based responses that support emotional regulation, trust-building, and long-term healing. Through real-life scenarios and interactive exercises, attendees will leave with practical tools they can immediately implement.
