The Importance of Secure Attachments
Presented by Foster and Kinship Care Education
Instructor: Dr. Judy Sullivan Osterhage
While building continuous connection with the child in your care is important at any age, learn why the first few years of development are the most vital. Beginning with building a healthy foundation, walk through the processes of forming attachments and the different types of attachments you can form. Understand baby cues and even toddler miscues as you develop your role into a trauma informed parent through connectivity and secure attachment!
Your Instructor: Dr. Judy Sullivan Osterhage is a Parent Coach Consultant with Parenting Matters & an Early Childhood Specialist. She holds a Doctorate in Elementary Education, and with that, has brought educational trainings to foster and adoptive parents for over 30 years!
