Interpersonal Youth/Adult Partnerships
Presented by CASA of Ventura County in Collaboration with FKCE
Instructor: Youth Equity Initiative
Discover how you can build stronger, more authentic one-on-one relationships with the young people you care and interact with directly. In this training, participants will learn practical ways to support youth voice, share decision-making appropriately, and meet youth on equal ground. This session offers simple tools to help adults create trust-based, developmentally supportive partnerships with the young people they serve. As a result, participants will recognize how they can co-create and make room for youth to feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Your Instructor: Under the Ventura County Probation Agency, the Youth Equity Initiative (YEI) works to inform community and agency policy and practice; strengthen youth programs’ capacities; and increase youth and family access to coordinated, culturally responsive services through cross-system collaboration.
