In-Service CE: Psychotropic Medications and our Youth

Many children and youth in the system have mental health diagnoses and are prescribed psychotropic medications. This in-service will cover topics including common diagnoses and corresponding medications in the foster youth population, how to talk to your Appointee about their medications and how their meds make them feel. We will also discuss signs to look for with respect to misuse of meds or improper dosing and who you can talk to if you have concerns.
