In-Service CE: Special Education – IEP basics and the law
Youth who are, or have been in foster care, are two or three times more likely than other students to have disabilities that affect their ability to learn. For those CASA volunteers who are interested in learning more about how to support their special needs child in educational settings, this training will provide an overview of the special education process, Section 504 and IDEA laws.
