Every one of us has a primary language of love, a way that fills our "love tank" better than any other. In this two part class we will utilize the best-selling book
The 5 Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman & Ross Campbell to inform our understanding of the love languages of the children in our care. The first week we will view the DVD, get an overview of the languages and complete a personal love languages survey. In the following week, we will more thoroughly explore each of the love languages based on the reading and quizzes/observation you will do with your children at home. This class has been specifically designed for kinship and foster families. Come and benefit from Pam & Bill's 25 years of teaching in the public and private sectors as well as their personal experience of raising their grown birth children and 3 adopted grandchildren (ages 9, 11, and 21) Be prepared for a fun and interactive class series! Participants will receive a certificate for 4 hours of training upon completion of the 2 part-class.
