CE: Drug Identification and Trends
Presented by National CASA
Presenters: National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children
In this one-hour webinar, the National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (DEC) will help provide information around drug identification and trends so professionals and community members know what to look for. Many professionals know about addiction and substance misuse…but many do not know about drug identification and drug trends.
For example, a child welfare investigator may not know what a meth pipe looks like, what marijuana extract looks like or smells like, or what other drugs or paraphernalia look like or smell like…and if they do not know, how are they identifying these in order to help children and families?
This presentation will be a general course for all staff and volunteers about drugs, paraphernalia, and trends in the field so they know what they are looking for to help.
