CASA of Ventura County - Know Your Rights

Instructors: Brooke Lautz of Ventura County Public Defender's Office and Ayala Benefraim from the Fresh Start Program
This Immigration training provided by the Ventura County Public Defender's Office will discuss people's legal rights during interactions with law enforcement and immigration officials. They will also discuss how to respond if ICE comes to your home or place of employment, or approaches you in a public location. The Fresh Start program provides resources for non-citizens with past convictions, opening doors to better job, housing and life opportunities. We will have Red Cards, referrals and community support.
