This session will explore the essential role of cultural competence in providing effective and compassionate care for youth placed in foster care from diverse backgrounds. Participants will learn how to recognize and respect cultural differences, adapt their care practices to meet the unique needs of each child, and create an inclusive and supportive environment that honors the identities and experiences of each person. The training aims to enhance participants' understanding and application of cultural competence in their daily interactions and caregiving practices.
Anne Rodriguez is a trainer & master coach with over 20 years of experience training and coaching for organizations like Child Welfare Services, Law Enforcement, Probation, Youth Independent Living Programs and Rehabilitation Programs. She is also a Master Mindset Coach helping clients remove blocks to be their best self and live their highest quality life.
