Loss, Transitions & Change
Presented by FKCE
Instructor: Dr. Judy Sullivan Osterhage
Facing loss at any level and at any age can be difficult process alone. Added with transition and change in foster care, the impact can be too much to bear, especially for children and teens who feel they have little to no control over how their life will change. Join Dr. Judy to examine the depth of the stages of grief children and youth experience in order to help them process loss. In doing so, participants will learn how to appropriately approach conversations on loss, transition and change depending on a child's age.
Your Instructor: Dr. Judy Sullivan Osterhage is a Parent Coach Consultant with Parenting Matters & an Early Childhood Specialist. She holds a Doctorate in Elementary Education, and with that, has brought educational trainings to foster and adoptive parents for over 30 years!
