Preparing for a New School Year/Helping Students With Goal Setting

Goal Setting for Students in the New Year focuses on helping parents and caregivers understand the importance of setting SMART goals with their children. This session equips families with practical strategies to support goal tracking and sustain motivation throughout the year. It also emphasizes the value of collaboration between parents, students, and educators to ensure alignment between academic and personal goals, fostering a strong foundation for student success.
Trainer: Dr. Joy Springer is a career educator with expertise in teacher training and educational structures within both K-12 and higher education systems. With California Teaching and Administrative Credentials, a Master's Degree in Administration, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, Joy assists organizations in collecting, evaluating and incorporating data to drive program objectives. Dr. Springer has nearly 20 years of experience teaching students from Kindergarten to graduate school.
