Eric Dersom
Eric Dersom is retired from two professions: one in General Contracting and the other as the Chief Financial Officer for a small manufacturing business. He has enjoyed volunteering in both juvenile and adult detention facilities as a chaplain for 25 years. Also, during this time Eric has:
- been an advocate for 13 children;
- brought his extensive experience to the table as part of the founding Board of Directors (when CASA of Ventura County gained its independence from an umbrella agency in 2011); and
- applied his business acumen while contributing as Co-Executive Director until August of 2012.
Eric, along with his wife Paula, have been CASA volunteers since 2006. Currently, Eric is the Board's Chief Financial Officer.
