Erika Garrett
Erika went to Cal State San Marcos and received her BA in Human Development with an emphasis in Child Psychology with the intentions of being a child psychologist. Her career took her down a different path and ended up excelling in Corporate America doing sales. Erika has been a CASA since October of 2016, first having the pleasure of advocating for three different children, and then taking on the responsibility of a peer coordinator in 2021.
After learning about CASA (from jury duty), she realized this was the perfect way to give back to the community and do something she was passionate about! Being a CASA has been the best experience, it is a wonderful feeling to see the light in a child’s eye when they realize they can really trust you and that you have their best interest at heart. In her spare time, Erika enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her family & friends.
