Gerry Rubey
Gerry Rubey is CASA’s most experienced Peer Coordinator. Since 1999, she has been an Advocate to 19 different children and foster parent to many others. Gerry’s dedication to CASA is evidenced by her involvement in almost every aspect of the organization, as:
-Speaker at Information Sessions where potential volunteers first hear about the program
-Trainer at key classes during the 40-hour Initial Trainings
-Liaison to the Court at review hearings
-Volunteer Case Supervisor to dozens of Advocates
Gerry earned her BA in Spanish from UCSB and held numerous positions of leadership in the consumer and medical fields during her working career.
