Janet Barron
Janet is an experienced advocate for women’s and social justice issues and has held leadership positions in local chapters of the National Organization for Women, Santa Barbara Women’s Political Committee and Coalition Against Gun Violence. She also served as the Assistant Director of the Santa Barbara Planned Parenthood Clinic. As Training Coordinator, Janet is using her extensive experience and education to:
-organize and lead Initial Trainings and special trainings;
-support all aspects of CASA operations; and
-research issues pertaining to foster youth.
Janet holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Health Education from the California State University, Northridge.
