In-Service CE: Family Finding Model
Responsive and energetic adult relationships are at the center of healing for maltreated children. The goal of family finding and engagement is to create lifetime networks of supported, committed adults for the safety and healing of children in foster care. This presentation will provide an overview of the key concepts, process and skills that can help expand connections for children. With neuroscience as the evidence base, we will learn how supportive relationships can re-wire a child's brain and provide buffering from trauma for resilience and healing.
